We visited the Schoharie Old Stone Fort where Revolutionary War reenactor Kyle Jenks and the staff of the Old Stone Fort will discuss Palatine and Revolutionary War history. We had lunch at the Carrot Barn where NYS Commissioner of Agriculture and Markets Richard Ball will discuss agriculture in the Schoharie and Mohawk Valley. Lastly, we visited the Schoharie River Center where high school age kids use macroinvertebrates to assess water quality, participate in archaeology, and collect folk lore.
